Low-income, food-insecure families often lack access to fresh, nutritious food like fruits and vegetables. Through our Mobile Food Pantry Program, we deliver fresh, perishable food items such as produce and low-fat dairy products directly to those in need throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties. Last year, more than 1.6 million pounds of food, nearly half of which were fruits and vegetables, were provided to nearly 88,000 individuals through our Mobile Food Pantry.
How it Works
Member agencies arrange for delivery through the Food Bank. Once delivery is scheduled, the pantry advertises the distribution date and time. At the time of distribution, the agency staff organizes all logistical procedures.
How You Can Participate
Individuals can get food from the Mobile Food Pantry by visiting their local distribution site.
